The day will culminate at 3:00 p.m. with a sharing session presented by the students.
Please consider the following when inviting your grade 5 students to participate:
● Students should have a positive attitude and be responsible.
● Students should be proficient and comfortable in the five areas of the Orff process: singing, movement, speech, improvisation, and instrumental playing. This includes knowing the notes B, A, G, low E, and low D on soprano recorder. However, there will be another instrument option if your students do not play recorder.
● Students must be accompanied by a teacher and supervised at all times.
There is no limit to the number of grade 5 students you can bring for the Winnipeg French day. There is a 15 student maximum per school for the Brandon day. Registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Register early to avoid disappointment! You must have one teacher/adult in attendance for every 10 students participating.
