IFME
If you are a high school student looking for information and considering opportunities for becoming a Music Educator in Manitoba, the Initiative for Future Music Educators (IFME) is for you!
In the Fall, we invite you to a two-part event: an online information session about applying to music programs and the music education field in Manitoba, and attendance at a full day conference for Music Educators where you can participate in workshops run by outstanding teachers in many areas of expertise to get a taste of what excellent music programs are like.
In the Winter, we invite you to Brandon for a full day of similar workshops with a variety of music specialists.
We keep in touch throughout the year to provide further information about Open House days at local university music/education programs and resources to help you make the best choice for beginning your impactful and rewarding careers in music education.
